Over the past 30 years the United States has made almost no progress in raising the achievement of elementary and secondary school students, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress, despite a 90% increase in real public spending per student.

The research is clear. High quality childcare at home and in centers is critical to children's future success. Just preparing your own child isn't enough. Your child is going to be in class with 22-32 other children. We need a community effort to ensure ALL children enter school ready to succeed.
