This project was first done for my senior project. The concept was for me to take an existing website and chart how findable it was as well as its usability and accessibility. After getting that information, I would then take what I learned and also teach my self some new tricks and try and make the site more usable to the end user. The bulk of the work was done on the findability part with slight attention paid to the usability and the accessibility.

The site I picked is a mid level nonprofit theater company that I had worked for in the past. The site is due for a full redesign, and the information I picked up from all of this will help them with the redesign.

In the end I did what I set out to do with the site. I applied good Findability methods to the site and got a huge jump in the traffic and the ranking on Google.

I am still working with this company in trying to keep there site content up to date and to make sure that the site keeps being the best it can be for the users that come to the site.
